Caibarien

Pastor Yaisel and his church in Caibarien partner with Aliento Cuba to provide meals to 35 elderly individuals five days a week. Aliento Cuba also funds medicines and medical supplies in 2024 they provided 954 distributions of medication.  This program is facilitated by a member of the church who is a doctor.

Cuba experiencing days of electricity power blackouts and cooking food has been more difficult.  In Caibarien, the church provided food to 170 individuals in one of the poorest neighborhoods in the area.

This was not an easy task. They devised a wood stove in the churches patio where they could cook the food. We are indeed thankful to God for the vision and work of God’s people in Caibarien
